My name is Lee Watts and I am a marriage celebrant.

I have always been passionate about the local community from my first job teaching children to swim, to managing the Scone Neighbourhood Centre and serving for more than 10 years on Council.

Now, as a celebrant I feel honoured to share in so many important occasions in people’s lives from marriages to naming ceremonies and funerals.

Every ceremony is different and I enjoy tailoring each one to be the special moment people have in mind.

I began my working career teaching local children to swim in Scone. I enjoyed working with people and this led to me to spending the rest of my career working for the local community as Manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Centre.

I have also served as elected Councillor for the past 10 years on the Upper Hunter Shire Council as a Councillor, Deputy Mayor and Mayor.

I remain in the Upper Hunter where I raised my daughter and now enjoy watching my grandchildren raised here.
